Quest for new constitution

The two principals president Mwai Kibaki and Prime Minister Raila Odinga have the uphill task of ensuring that the launched harmonised draft gets the support it needs to become law. Prior to its publication, the American ambassador had urged the two principals to ensure that there is consensus on the draft constitution. The US envoy says constitutional review must be achieved by this coalition government. But as NTVs Brenda Mulinya reports, it may not be so easy, going by Kenyas constitutional review history.

I'm for those who say US amabassador should go slow with Kenya issues. US became indipendent in 1773, in 1861-65 came civil war it should be called black war because 11 southern states wanted the slavely to continue while free states of north wanted the slaves to be free. It's like he don't know the worse atrocities ever done to any race was wiping out Indians, in Kenya they are known as red Indians. Go slow and look at your tainted history that is not known outside US.

He has no moral authority to dictate upon anybody. When they mess with international issues do they listen to anybody? He is all over the place talking about the ICC for Kenya. I support the idea of ICC but what moral authority does R-berger has when the US has not ratified the ICC accord?

It does not take Rainburgers to make Kenya change. These people are turncoats. Anybody who followed the events after the election results knows for sure that RAINBURGER recognized the so called winners and advised the loosers to go to the Kenyan courts for legal redress. Didnt he know that our institutions were not working? If we want to save Kenya we must change ourselves from the grassroot level.
