Mink farms all over the world are a disgrace. The way the animals are treated (even in the so called civilised countries) is despicable and the environmental issues are inevitable.

If everybody stopped buying fur (and we really dont need it only the animals do) mink farms and the other fur farms would close down. Many countries across the world have banned or are considering banning the fur farms.

First off, the Union was the northern part of the United states during the Civil war that was fighting for the freedom for African Americas. There was no "Union" at that point in time, heck we weren't even the USA at that point. Back then the USA was divided by European countries like France, England and Spain.
