Arma 2 | RPG Ambush From The Mountains

A squadron of 4 USMC tanks and 20 infantry is ambushed from the mountains of the North. Hundreds of insurgents emerge in the distance, throwing a barrage of RPG and machine gun fire at the US Marines.

I didn't die in this one! Took me about 15 minutes to edit and film, I just want to keep some Arma 2 content flowing, as I have a very big Arma 2 plan for the future that I am working on!

The Island is Tora Bora, using JSRS sound mod, WarFX explosions/tracers etc, and Zeus AI.

For entertainment purposes, we decided that instead of moving out of the kill zone, we would just sit there and take the fire! :P

Richie, where did you get warFX particles because on Six Updater they have the latest version from April 25th 2010 yet for me it glitches and won't install it. Did you get it from armaholic instead?

You run at 1280 x 1080? Sometimes I think I'd be better off going back a bit, I run at 1920 with 3.2mhz 860. 26" maybe to big

Hey mate, I run at 1289x1024 normally, but to record I have to switch to 1280x720.

If I had a monitor 26" sounds just right, and as long as my PC could handle it, 1080p would be what I ran too!

A mac will not be able to run this. You need a proper high powered PC, you MIGHT be able to run it on very low graphic settings (it will look like crap) and will still be fairly laggy.

Macs aren't made for gaming or doing any "heavy lifting". They are mainly used by those who want to be considered more "alternative" and or artistic individuals.

Why anyone who is not using it for art/music would buy such an overpriced underperforming machine is beyond me.

Lost, no. Disabled to the extent that the crew must abandon it. Then it is destroyed to prevent the enemy from capturing it. Yes. And btw M1A1's were disabled by AT-14 Kornet missiles in 2003. Aprox 4 missiles were fired by the elite Republican Guard, 2 tanks were disabled 1 badly damaged.
