How it works:
This works on the same principles as a tent guy rope tensioner.
The monkey starts at the bottom of the strings. You pull both the strings tights using the handle at the top and the beads at the bottom. By tilting the handle from side to side it alternates the tension from one string to the other. The string with tension is gripped in one of the monkeys hands while the slack string is sliding freely through its other, thus making it climb.

It may sound complicated but it is simple to use!
