My first attempt at reviewing a game goes to a humble 1997 arcade racer. Many websites I looked at gave this game poor reviews, so I'm going to try and shed some new light on this game. Strap in, hold tight, and try not to get stuck in any window panes.

  • The songs:

"Are you fuckin' awake out there?"

    "Please don't drop me, baby"

Also, this game has a killer soundtrack. And it delivers that sense of speed.

  • Are they really dropping an F-bomb in that first one? 'Cause when I listen to it again it really sounds like it. Sega is hardcore, man.

  • A fairly solid review. You generally know what you're talking about, and you kept it quick and generally to the point.

I don't think the game itself is that good, though. From what you've shown me, there really isn't enough to it to warrant more than a 10 dollar purchase, and the lack of cars and tracks make the game feel kind of unfinished. In the arcades, this is acceptable, but since this is a port, they could've easily added more tracks and cars to make is more worthwhile to buy.

  • I believe it was around 5 bucks when I bought it, so I got quite a deal.

  • Nice review bud. I'm almost in tears having had to put up with the Sega Satrun choppy & almost un-playable major slow down version and never thought about getting the PC version... Gona have to hunt me down a copy. DOG MEAT BABY! :)

  • The trick is, that you have to steer SOFT!

You all do the mistake to steer the cars so aggressive around the turns. You lose so much speed due to this!

The trick is to steer soft and hold the perfect line - which is good visible due to the street. Like on a real race you see the line of tire rubber. Thats the line you have to hold.

The urban city the last turn takes by far too much time to take it correct.

Trick: Act like if the turn is a left turn XD. Yes really^^

  • Its very hard to play with keyboard.

I've played it on a arcade machine which of course had an steering wheel and so on.

With that it was a fantastic awesome steering. I had such a great feel on the road unlike with keyboard. This game has to be played on the arcade machine.

I believe my championship record was a 2:43.xx but I dont remember exactly.

    On Qualifying I made a 23.7xx ( + / - some milliseconds)

Getting the 1st place was very easy with that setup. Best car is the mercedes.

  • The handling is really weird on this game, I know about racing line and am really good at GT and Forza, but all racing knowlege is thrown out the window on this game, its balls to the wall arcade insanity with cars you can barely control, but the Euro 90's feel of this game is just amazing

  • @DoctorKwack101 The song's by Maximizor, an Avex Trax artist (I have the OST). Sega probably wouldn't do that in any of their own songs. But it's sampled from something else. I just don't know. But there really is an F-bomb in there.

  • awesome review man!!!please make mroe reviews!

  • its window pane man, you got it.

  • awsome review dude!
