Here is my attempt to 'fix' the timing from my previous versions.
I put it to a 127 bpm click track.
it fits. i had to cut it up inot hundreds of pieces to get it quantized.
and I think realisticaly the solution is to re-record it... but we only get 2 days this time... so maybe next time.

i use vegas too. and its pretty cool. it also has an autosave function. so sometimes you can recover your tracks :)

anyways hope you all enjoy my version now that it's all the same tempo :)

the video is from a recent trip to japan.

  • That must have taken hours. Good Job!

  • it took a couple of hours maybe three...

  • I can see your hand getting stuck between the strings and the Gibson guitar "tuning" and ripping your hands off.

    I don't trust robots.

    Even guitar robots!

  • robots are our friends.

  • i liked the bass from step 8 better...

  • great job...i dig

  • Sounds perfect!!! Hopefully you didn't give yourself RSI (OOS) in the process though haha! :D On the plus side I'm sure Rivers could pay for your rehabilitation?? :D

  • one of my versions for step 10 had cowbell.

but... step 10 was about lyrics

  • I have to say this is pretty badass, I don't know squat about how he plans on finishing the song but if we could just get a little harder edge to the high pitched guitar notes this song is gonna kill. Great job everyone.

  • Ya this is the one. Who else could do it anyway? Unless you emailed us all the original files, and we had Vegas... I was going to attempt fixing the track. But after hearing this I don't think I need to. I thought the drum break before the bridge was a little off but after listening to the click track it works.

Great job. If rivers wants anything better he'll have to take you all to his studio!

  • Oops, sorry, as there already was a cowbell reference in Gibrawk's video...
