the Latches are called Alice clips - they were used on US military equipment in Vietnam for example - very secure method of attaching something to a belt..

I got mine today - but I still watch your video - would you let me know how you feel about the Tricorder Holster -now that you have had it for sometime - I am not sure if I should get one !!

@Binome909 Congrats on receiving yours! Personally I think the holster is really cool, but I'm not exactly walking around my house with the tricorder on my belt.

That said, however, if you ever plan on wearing a trek costume to a convention or on halloween it's probably worth the extra $20 for the holster.

Greetings, Yes there awesome, i got mine when it was Master replica, i got an acrylic shell to put over the shell. I got in an argument with a person at a convention said that the MR and the EFX were 2 different tricorders, nope the same prop, Efx bought out MR.
