  • How funny you call me a boy but we're the exact same age???What a cocksucker you are. It doesn't sound like you owned a mustang because you dont seem to know anything about them. Its a 4.6L and its not a GT it a Mach1 which is a totally different motor and its rated at 310hp not 260. BTW, you say that you don't care about MPG but yet you keep mentioning it over and over and over, give it up and stop giving excuses. I would like to see an stock s2k walk a stock Mach, LMAO!

  • Well, even tho the Eclipse is still labled as import, it is made in America now. I belive mine says it was made in Illanois

  • @blown06tc S2000s are made for the track, not straight lines. Take your mach 1 against any S on a REAL track and see how bad your mach 1 really looks

  • @thetravdawg Its the design, why cant you understand? Its meant to get water out of the air and drain it. Dont BS me about LS1, I've seen plenty of ls1 motors to know how it works, the ram air inlet on your car is half way up your hood yet your intake filter is up front on top of the radiator, how exactly do you thing the air flow makes it to the filter without changing direction? My buddys LS1 GTO with an LS2 hood with ram air works the same way, air has to turn forward to make it to the filter

    Thanks for further illustrating my point, "it makes a u-turn" which indicates it's a round-a-bout rather than a direct or "ram" intake.

    You're wrong about the LS ram air by the away my '99 SS air flow goes from hood scoop to air box and to the throttle body (there's an engine bay shot in my videos). It's all one direct path. The LT1 Z28/Trans Am had the elbow from an air box into the throttle body but the '96 SS and Firehawk/WS6 have the same ram air set up as my car.

  • @thetravdawg You make no sense, the air goes directly to the air box it just driving you crazy that the air makes a u-turn and down to a modern air box, bottom line is that it goes directly there and not for some other auxiliary purpose, it just feeds the intake. Quit being a soreass about the subject, some LS motors have ram air you dont see me saying its a fake ram air just because in midway thru the hood and makes a u-turn and then into the air box, thats the way GM designed it and thats it.

    In my words it's not fully functional, I take back where I said it was "cosmetic only." A true shaker hood drives air DIRECTLY in to the throttle body via the air box, not indirectly. Everywhere official where the "shaker" hood on the Mach 1 is described there are quotations around "shaker" which indicates it is a throw back to the original but not a true shaker hood.

    You can stomp your feet all you want as a Mach 1 owner but that doesn't make you right either.
