The Carpenters should darn well be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame simply for the fact that K.C. was an influence to every single female drummer on this very planet! You hear tributes to the women in the hall for their infuences on women for picking up a guitar, but why aren't there accounts of the first famous woman to ever pick up a drumstick, and not only wonderfully play the instrument, but also sing so beautifully at the same time?
R.I.P. Karen Carpenter (the greatest voice ever).

and to the one that gave a dislike: you would`nt know good music was, even if it crawled up to you and bit you on your poor excuse of an ass!

I get goosebumps whenever I hear this song. It reminds me of an old girlfriend who was very special. The year was late 1971 or early 1972.

Thanks for this lovely posting, what a record of her gorgeous talent.
Karen, 27 years ago, on February 4th, we lost your worldly presence forever. But you will always live in our memory forever.
May you rest in peace, and may you always be beautiful.

It is an absolute joke that The Carpenters are not in the Rock an Roll Hall of Fame. Karen had a once in a generation type of voice and Richard was a genius.
