the drive-in at the :30 mark of the video is the old "Totem Pole," in royal oak michigan. no longer there it was torn down long ago when Woodward ave. was widend at 10 mile road. in the 50s and 60s teengers from all over the north Woodard area crused and hungout there. including me!

There were more "greasers" in the 50s and early 60s but by the mid 60s they were gone and "Frats,Mods,and Hippies",were the new rage! Once in a while you'd still see a Greaser in the mid to late 60s, but they really looked behind the times and out of place by then.
