Back in the Zanz the extended mix was done live on turntables and still is in some places

We used to get it IN at Zanzibar. Red Light District and all lol!!! The chirrens today don't really know how to party like that but some are getting hip to it now. I love love love the whole underground scene how it has evolved now.

@whipslinger1 YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT ABOUT THOSE FACTS YOU HAVE STATED WE ROCKED @ KLUB ZANZIBAR ABE'S DISCO THE LINCOLN MOTEL IN THE RED LIGHT DISTRICT OF NEWARK, NJ 430 BROAD STREET WAS THE PLACE TO BE ON WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND CERTAIN SPECIAL SUNDAY NIGHTS. LABOR DAY WEEKEND 1979 WAS THE OPENING OF THE KLUB WERE WE CAME TO DANCE IT OUT (THE PROBLEMS). WE SETTLED IT BY DANCING!!!!!

This is the version that introduced me to the B52's. Tee Scott, Tony Humphries and Larry Patterson would all spin this extended remix version at Zanzibar back in the 80's. Boy, those were the days....

It's an exclusive mix I'm afraid,but I'm glad you like it. You can find a similar but much shorter version by Danny Krivit on a UK 12"
