@rickyboxer32 I would recommend periodization to everyone. It's important to perform a fitness test before engaging in an exercise program. The results of the fitness test should tell you where the individual is stratified into the periodization stages. Then you can work up the stages to the cycle that meets your needs, for example, strength.
What would you recomend for say a SWAT team member participating in a tactical strength and conditioning program where there are no set "seasons" to peak and taper for?
