@leisadc He was almost 'otherworldly' in some sense. I well remember at the ripe age of 5 yrs old being utterly captivated by a couple of his songs. And for a wee kid to be so affected by a piece of very adult and complex music is something else; it says alot about the artist's ability to convey his feelings and thoughts.

@JonathanG My first introduction to him was when I was around 7 with the song country roads...I am from the state of WV...so that is where he made his first mark on my life.... my sister and I was quite the troubadors....and we sang most of his music. This song is extraordinary...the guitar rhythm is incredible..not to even mention the lyrics...some of my spiritual sense was instilled by his music...he continues to live in so many hearts.
