Sony Hi8 Handycam The Curse of the Skull - my first video 2004

This is the first video with a story that I ever remember making, and I just found it on a tape! :)

I am not in it, I just filmed it.My brother is the main character and my neighbor/babysitter/freind and other old friend are in it too. My friend and I made all of the music/sound effects with the ringtones on my Mom's cell phone.
All of the effect, scene transitions and titles are made completely with my Sony Digital 8 Megapixle Digital Handycam.

This was a scary Halloween-esc video shot 10/1/04 ~ and the camera says it was from about 7:30-8:30 AM, but that must be wrong because I remember the sun setting.

The plot of the movie is as follows...
THE CURSE OF SKULL
A boy (my brother) is walking home from school.
He sees a skull on the ground.
"What's this? Someone must have left this here."
So it turns out that the skull is cursed! and the boy dies.
The boy becomes an evil with a sith, devil, grim reaper, sort of ghost person who wants revenge.
He travels magically to a park and a girl walks by.
She reached for an apple and he attacks her!
She screams in pain.
The boy laughs evily.
A different~ girl is laying on a hammock playing with a ball. The boy comes up and knocks her over/kills her.
The boy laughs evily again.
The boy then kills some other things (dried out giant sunflowers) and laugh evily again.
Then the boy attacks some rocks and laughs evily again.
He is beating up the ground/bushes when a girl walks up. They fight and she steals the axe and hits him with it!
She has killed him and smiles and laughs too!

... though it is very amature, I am proud how I/we were able to get a few different angles on some shots and cool transitions. We tried to get the titles to work as well, but they had a character limit. At first the lighting is very good, but then it is later at night and it is really bad (sorry.)
Overall I am glad I found it, I want to go into film! ok now I am remableing... GOOD NIGHT! :)

That intro is worthy of John Carpenter. He would be proud. That kid plays dead pretty good. The skeleton hands are awesome.
