This is a great song that is relatively unknown. If you don't know the original you should check it out!

  • plis i ned the notes D:

  • @thekillers671 It is a half C chord on the top with C, F and G on the bottom for the verses. On the chorus do an A, F and G on the bottom. When you hit the G do a B and D on the right hand. The bridge is F, A and G. Please let me know if you need more description and thanks for listening!

  • As I think about it, I'm pretty sure I've never seen anyone play the piano in a baseball cap.

And your cover of this song is wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the improvisation towards the end.

  • Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to listen. As for Kenny Chesney, the baseball cap covers up my little secret...I am bald as a cue ball :)

  • Will you please take the first version of this off of Private...I would like someone to hear it and I can't send it since only you and I can see it.

  • I was wondering if theres any chance you could make up sheet music, i loved your cover i want to play this really badly. please that would be a great help x

  • Great job with this

  • This is one of my all time favorite National songs, thank you for sharing, you were wonderful. You play so lovely.

  • @SimonEdward123 Thanks for your interest! During the bridge, the first part is F, A, G on the left with a straight f-chord, inverted A (E on the bottom) and inverted G (D on the bottom). Then on the second part of the bridge it is F, G, A on the bottom and a half A (A and C only), half G (G and B only) and back to half A. Do this twice and then go back into the verse. Please let me know if this doesn't make sense. Otherwise, enjoy and thanks again!

  • @72Dave4u2 Hey great cover. I don't "know" piano but I can kind of play it and I'm learning this tune from this vid. During the bridge you are play F, A and G with the lefty, can you enlighten me on what you are playing with the righty. Thanks in advance.

  • top stuff mate.
