@Largo64- Makes good sense. :) I shall post this quote in my profiles. Should suit me well, I think.

@DayMare2000 Well, it's not exactly the same: "Thus God wears the mask of the Devil, and the Devil wears the mask of God; God wants to be recognized under the mask of the Devil, and he wants the Devil to be condemned under the mask of God." -- Martin Luther.
Your way suggests god and the devil are one in the same, and that's how they appear to me.

@Largo64- I either heard this statement somewhere, or I came up with it. Not sure-- "The Devil is just God with a mask on." God has many masks, but he is the ultimate, draconic evil.
That said, I am overjoyed and relieved to have left the Christian religion. It was ruining my life, and it has/is ruining the lives of some of the most wonderful people I have ever met. :(
If the god of the bible exists, he is most certainly evil. No devil is necessary when devilish actions require the permission of the almighty. The almighty is evil enough. The devil is redundant.

@Largo64 An interesting phenomenon I read about was something called a Boltzmann Brain. The most rational explanation for the bible god I can find.
