T'was during a "lunch" break at Arthur Sheep's Clifford flat in Colombo St, Christchurch on a warm 13 Feb, 1984, our freeloading reprobates hijacked the jazz ensemble's rig and laid down 40 mins of total improv, McCabe resorting at one stage to quoting drum head branding as lyrics. An atypical line-up of bass, keys & skins this version of NAB THE LAMB (WAZOWSKI APOCALYPZ MIKZ) has recently undergone the ROMAN WAZOWSKI treatment and been married to the erstwhile 16mm footage of a film whose soundtrack was once provided by 'NEU'. In a daring 21st Century example of 'free use' the audio replaced version is still credited to the original film-maker and his crew. A rare insight into the midnight cassette transcription and enhancement processes of the elusive R.W.
