Nurburgring / Nordschleife Bike Onboard June 2009 on a Honda CBR1000RR

On board video from the infamous Nurburgring, Germany with a dashboard overlay. The video was shot in June 2009 on a pretty busy weekend at the Ring. There where lots of yellow flags and track closers but I managed to get a 8:24 lap time ( unfortunately I wasn't recording at the time ).

@filterfreak Why? I told the true. You pass on the start line at 0:27:00 ( 1:04 of timeline ) and it was not possible to pull on the long straight. So is not a good lap time to make comparisons with other lap times. It is a shame. After all the technology you used. Is there anything wrong with what I said?

Is a nice video, I've seen with pleasure, if you have menstrual problems is not my fault.

@ondaquadra No I do not have a menstrual problem as you say but I am lacking in patience for dumb responses.

If you had done the tiniest amount of research you would know that when the Nurburgring is open to the public the start finish straight is closed and you have to re-enter the car park. That is why lap times on ALL PUBLIC DAYS AT THE NURBURGRING ARE TIME FROM BRIDGE TO GANTRY.

Yep definitely, without the traffic and yellow flag / sweeper truck on the very important fast uphill section it would have been faster.

Too bad you had to stop, just when the long straight part comes. It's just a perfect opportunity to give it all a final blast.

Good quality... 9 minutes with traffic and accident are realy good.

Nordschleife is the most exiting racetrack I know, but realy dangerous.

The start is for Touristrides, not the real start.

At the Touristride-Start you lose a lot of time, because Döttinger Höhe is the fastest part, with possible highspeed of more than 270 km/h if you could ride it till the end.

I think you need to get to Germany and go round the Ring, this will then qualify you to comment on how lap times are done on the Nurburgring / Nordschleife or the ring as it's called just incase you didn't know..
