The entire movie was filmed in Malta, not in Turkey.

This was an exceptional work. Naturally the film helped as well as the excelent performance of Brad Davis (R.I.P.)

@philster61 he only got paid 15 grand for making that film and only did it as a favour to david putnam..brad made himself virtually unemployable with all his antics..which was a real shame as he had the potential to a be really huge star after midnight express...

@heston99 Yes he was. My particular favorite role of Brads is in Chariots of Fire. He almost underacted and yet his role was so important.
