Naruto - Despair by Takanashi Yasuharu (Fingerstyle Guitar)

A viewer requested this tune. I don't do requests unless I find the tune really compelling. Like a lot of Naruto music this one was appealing. Before attempting my own arrangement I always look for an existing arrangement. I found this one. Some Youtuber named 'nemesis21h' did a video and after listening to it a couple of times I decided he did a really good job. Unfortunately, he didn't provide any tab. He ignored all the pitiful pleas from the viewers. So, I have stepped in as an act of mercy to fill this demand.

It's a relatively easy tune, but I've always had trouble with harmonics, so I messed up most of them. Also, it needs to be played more slowly than this, but my defective nervous system won't allow me to play any slower. Check out his video. He plays it better than this.

hey great job dude and i got down the harmonics on the 12th and 7th fret, but the 5th fret is givin me some trouble, do you have any advice or tips to help me out

@AtomicDeath48 Not really. The 5th fret is the hardest. Especially with the first 3 strings. You just have to practice. Try plucking the strings closer to the bridge. Harmonics can be harder on an inexpensive guitar too.

What kind of harmonics are those and how do you learn them?

@vicentecorreapiano They are open string harmonics. Usually played on the 12th, 7th or 5th frets. Touch the string lightly with your left hand at one of these frets and then pluck the string as you normally would with the right hand. You release the left hand finger quickly after plucking it. Takes some practice.
