Better wake up and realize America doesn't care about you bro. It's hard to be wise, easy to be a fool. If this knowledge came easy... You are a fool...
@Ryooken If the civil war was about slavery then the 13th and the 14th Amendment to the constituton would have been written to eliminate slavery period. It was not. This allows neo-slavery to exist in this country today. So before you start talking about what Wright is saying, I suggest you do two things. First read the bible then read US history up to 5 years ago and see how close we are to the bible.
@Ryooken Let's recap the settlers came to this country to steal, kill, rape, and rob the country and they used God to justify their actions. That violates every form of the 10 commandments. When they enslaved people they used God to justify their actions again against the bible taking God's name in vain. The Civl War wasn't about slavery although is presented that way, it was about Brittains involvement in the seperation of the USA. continued
Okay enough. I hate to say this but this guy doesn't know US history. He is speaking of the illusion of America versus the reality of America. Now what Wright said is very close to true. We don't know if the government purposefully infected black men with AIDS, we do know they purposefully infected black men with syphillis as a 40 year study to see how long it will take them to die. The bible speaks on the murder of innocents. What Wright said came from the scriptures. continued
@cedpoet Hi, I experiences some racism from both whites and blacks. But compared to the goodness I experienced from both of them, the racism I experienced is minimal. Hope this helps.
Geronami you are clueless!!! I could only watch 1:21 of this clip, but would like to know what you are smoking.and what history coarse you took while in america
I recommend reading Walker's Appeal, since many of the things you are saying aren't true. Also, keep in mind Rev. Wright served in the Marines and Navy, so he isn't just some naysayer. Many of the things you stated sound directly from textbooks and other mediums, which have bias. Have you ever wondered why aid to Africa has come under fire in recent years? or why Aron Burr is rarely talked about in textbooks? That would give you the real reason why Lincoln passed the Emancipation Proclamation.
GERONAMI, I just ran across your video and found it disturbing. I find it disturbing because you know as much about U.S history as most americans. I am not speaking of the rhetoric found in history books found in school but the real history. You know nothing of it. Sorry!
