Hi my friends !

This is me LIVE singing on the backing track of the song "Remember Yesterday" (Single Edit) by John Miles (with lyrics by Bob Marshall) originally included in the "Stranger In The City" album of 1976.

John Miles is well known for his incredible song called "Music" and for his appearances in some beautiful Alan Parsons Project songs.
His first four albums, most of all, contains some wonderful songs, and this is one of them.

(Hey, I showed myself again here ^_^)

ENJOY !

  • it's amazing what they get you to do in a prison line up!

    great job Alec

  • @plumbtblue LOL ! Those are the doors of my closet, not a prison line up of course hahahahaha. This made me laugh a lot, thanks. Jokes apart, thank you very much for your appreciation ! I did more professional videos in more recent times. If you feel like, check out my channel for best-looking videos ;-) You're welcome !

  • hey man where on earth did you get that backing track from

  • @markbuffyfan ^_^ ... I didn't -get- it ... I recreated it by turning down the original vocal track from the complete original track with a free software called Audacity. It doesn't work with every song, but this time it worked. There are many tutorials on the internet about how to do such a trick. Thanks for listening ;-)

  • :-) Thank you Jo ! Gosh, now I would have made this video a lot different, but I'm fond of it anyway, I was having more and more confidence in doing YTvideos at the time (two years ago ... argh, time passes so fast). Thanks again !

  • One of my favorite John Miles songs. Great work my man. jh. :)

  • OK !

You know ... I read "that's it. I've heard enough. I'll post the real thing." and I think, wow, he must have thought that I made a total disaster and probably that I'm neither a real John Miles fan. I can't change his mind, but I need to remark that I'm a genuine JM fan, so I just did it. Ok, then ! See you !

  • I was only kidding Alec - you are pretty good and seeing as you are copying a master, that is really a complement.
