Miley's POV

I was leaving Seth's room when I heard a siren outside the hospital. It wasn't unusual, obviously, since it was a hospital, but I always cringed at the sound whenever I thought of the poor people that were in the ambulance.

Since Seth had finally fallen asleep again, I headed back to my dad's office. As I passed the elevatore, the door opened with 5 doctors and a stretcher. It must be a kid, which is even more depressing. They always did the surgeries on whatever unit the person was staying on. As they wheeled the stretcher past me I glanced down at who it was. I saw a football uniform and some curly brown hair.

Wait. Football. Brown, curly hair. The uniform had my school colors on it too and I knew there was a game tonight. It must be someone from my school. Which means I will have to talk to them. Damn it.

Hold it Miley. They are injured in some way. Don't put your selfishness before that. Urghh, curse my niceness. Now who has curly brown hair? Jeremy, Chase, Jessie. But no it was too light for any of them. Then it hit me. It was Nick. No, it can't be. There's so many other people it could be. But then again the person had his hair and uniform. No. It's definitely someone else. It has to be.

Billy- Miley.

I turned around quickly to face my dad.

Miley- Yes daddy?

Billy- We just got a kid come here. He goes to your school and is in your grade.

Miley- What's his name?

Billy- Nicholas Jerry Jonas.

F U C K M Y L I F E!

Miley- What happened to him?

Billy- It was a football injury. He hit his head. He's having an operation right now.

Miley- And?

Billy- Right after school, I want you to head straight here. You're going to spend a few hours with him so he's not as frightened, because I fear the worst.

Yeah. Not like I don't do that every day.

Miley- Why? What could happen?

Billy- There's quite a good chance that he lost his sight.

Damn him. Even when I despise him, I have to feel sorry for him. Nobody deserves to be hurt in any way.

Miley- Okay, daddy.

I walked back into his office and grabbed my bag and put it on my shoulders. I used the elevator and walked out of the hospital.
