It is sad that some men try to use what Apostle Paul said about a woman teaching or speaking in a church. Have you ever studied the word to see why he made a statement like that? Obviously there was something going on in that particular church among the women. They were talking out of turn and asking their husbands questions. Apostle Paul wanted them to wait until they get home and ask their husband what they needed to know. It really had to do with having order in the church.

Who first came to the tomb and told the disciples that Jesus has raisen from the dead? Is telling people the good news having authority over men? If so then the angels of God did wrong in telling the women to let the disciples know that Jesus has raisen. Bring that up to God. Plus if you look at the words closely Apostle Paul was giving his opinion. It says "But I" does not say "God said" says "I". Paul was telling Timothy what he does. Let God decide who he wants to call into the ministry.
