This song is alive, restless, urgent, so distinctive! So glad someone pointed me to this. I clicked through because I didn't know if it was "retro"; it sounds like it could be on the radio today!

One thing bothers me a little in the comments: that people feel the need to praise Davis by slamming Gaga, who's got a strong voice, writes or co-writes her material, and works hard to blend performance art and music. Not your thing? Fine, but you don't have to hate one to love the other.

@TheCK640 Gaga's only had three albums so far and I think she hasn't lost sight of the music being the most important thing, but she could easily get lost in all the fashion and shock and become irrelevant. I also hope she continues to push herself and improve.

@mjjcng8958 I would disagree on the "mediocre voice" comment — if you haven't, check out one of the numerous piano/vocal videos of hers and see what she sounds like without all the other stuff. At least compared to the current crop of pop stars, she's definitely got pipes. But she may not be your taste, and that's fine, too.
