@TLers they will be okay...just do what you think is right, you need have no fear, do some research and mix it with your belief,,before i use to have fear, and now i do what i think is right, my finches fly outside in my yard, and before i thought that it was impossible, good luck, hope your finches are okay.

My zebra finch hen just laid her first eggs. Im worried about everything including whats ahead them growing up & learning to fly. LOve the vid

The baby is probably just learning to stretch it's wings since my birds do that when they want a bird bath from me. They learn to clean themselves by flapping.

Ok this is a serious question do birds have to mate to have eggs like have intercourse with the oppsite gender or does it just happen migically like they have eggs every season please help and message me.

You should probably do a Google search instead of asking random people on YouTube.

Hey guys, my Zebra finches laid 4 eggs, and I was so excited to see the eggs hatch- watch the chicks grow, but sadly, the first chick hatched a few days ago, and didn't survive even 24 hours, and then the parents totally abandoned the whole clutch? I fed the chicks all the right stuff, had nestling food, etc.. They look pretty healthy as well. What do you think went wrong...

Sometimes birds just do that. The clutch could have been unhealthy, or the parents may just not know what to do.
A good pair of Society finches will run you $30-$50, but they'll usually take over care of a nest of chicks if the parents abandon it.

Both Morgan and Neptune are doing very well. :) They live in a cage next door to their parents. Neptune ended up being pretty wild, but Morgan is very affectionate and likes to shriek lovingly in your ear when he sits on your shoulder.
