Latest figures are 70,000 mercenary troops and 40,000 US soldiers in Afghanistan now. The US had announced in June, 2001 that it planned to invade Afghanistan in the fall of the same year to India, Pakistan, Turkey & Russia. How 'convenient' that 911 happened with Osama bin Laden sheltered by the Taliban to give the US its much-needed pretext for war, eh? If only the US had given the Taliban the damning evidence it said it had against bin Laden, this disasterous war could have been avoided.

This is the point and there is nothing else. When you destroy the very laws and system that was built to ensure that dictators would not take the US into wars. Once a President can start a war on his own it takes the world to stop it. Put the laws back into play. Now we tell a nation how it can be! Just as always Tyranny is Money
