Yakima, WA continues to get blasted with the biggest snowfall I've seen in years ... but I still need to go grab some beer, so hold on.

  • looks fun. I'd try long studs or chains

  • @navythomas8 - I appreciate your input. You prob have more experience riding in it than many others put together.

  • @icpchad Thats why I asked bro!! no slam intended, Just my experience.

  • @navythomas8 - in 11 inches of snow, no tire reaches solid ground. Fat or skinny. A ski between the front forks would handle better. I hear people saying the same thing about trails, "Oh, you want skinny tires, those fat tires don't do as well as my skinny tires." ... and all that, but it's been my experience that everything, and I do mean everything is just a matter of opinion. And one man's golden rule is another man's fortune cookie. I'd be happy to try a DRZ400 (prob my next one).

  • Remember when I asked you about the fat tires? This is exactly the subject I meant!. My experience has been in deep snow the skinnier the front the less wash out I experience. and no this is not an I told you so comment. I was truly interested in what your experiencing in this vid! I am amazed how well my KLR front handles the deep snow. its a 90/90x21. Very narrow and seems to cut to the ground. Great ride my friend!!

  • @bakker46 - More snow (supposedly) on the way. ;-) It's already too deep to ride.
