@MaiAntiMarxist So what? you just want the cap? Fine by me. I don't care as long as they stop fucking polluting MY air. Again, with CO2 I agree, but how can you say that we should reintroduce CFCs when they fuck up the ozone and cause an increase of UV rays that can KILL US ALL.

@LasagnaIsGood Cap and trade does not work... in fact this is just designed for governments to take money away from the private sector- us. The companies who manufactures products adds this cost to the consumers and in the end...we are all going to pay ..and for what>?? This lie about CO2 causing global warming.

@LasagnaIsGood This video simply was discussion how cap and trade works, to both protect peoples property and increase competition. It doesn't mention CO2 at all(correct me if I'm wrong), that's why i was surprised when you mentioned global warming. The video was about Sulfur from factory emissions that cause acid rain and environmental damage and how to gov stoped it using cap and trade.

@MaiAntiMarxist Yes I'm aware of the absurd CO2 taxes, and regulations imposed that are not based on any scientific information(man-made global warming). But I'm simply stating that pollution that effects others and their property is a crime because it is a threat to their liberty, and simply dismissing it as necessary for the greater good(national economy) is just another statist policy.For example all the god damn oil spills or dangerous chemicals polluting peoples property.

@LasagnaIsGood what dangerous chemicals are you talking about? We already have the clean air act, water effluent waste water treatment regulations etc... are all implemented long before and now they want to tax us all through the corporations and industries. These industries will pass this cost to us consumers. CO2 is non inert and is absorbed by water vapor and once rain occurs will be consumed by plants and trees and they produce oxygen as part of the carbon-oxygen cycle.

@MaiAntiMarxist This isn't about CO2. This is about dangerous chemicals that are released into the air, harming people and their property, which is a crime. No one is arguing the prices will increase, but saying that, is like saying products would be cheaper if they were just stolen. Of course if you go through illicit means to create products the price will decrease.

There is global cooling and global warming but it is never man-made. Carbon dioxide and water vapor has always been by-products of combustion and both are greenhouse gases. Without them there will be no vegetation. This cap and trade system is a way for government to steal money from citizens. The companies will just pass down their expenses to the people.

Why didn't the environmental guru's go after nitrogen oxide which produces smog in our cities?? And causes major health problems. Its also produced during the combustion process. So power plants, some industry and cars produce it and its bad for the environment as well as the carbon monoxide. They would have made a great case for there scheme then but they chose carbon dioxide the stuff we breathe out. The stuff trees breath in to help them grow.
