Here is some of my favorite death metal bands. Some are old school. some are new school. Alot are tech death, others are just plain BRUTAL.
*Melodic Death Metal bands NOT included*
*UPDATE: Another FYI my opions have changed,some of these bands would not be on the list anymore.

@andy92811 that's an opinion. mine differs. though death were quite good, to me just because it's older doesn't mean it surpasses all the newer bands. there is no greatest band, but a lot of great bands.

behemoth isn't actualy death metal... it's fused death and black metal... and they're more blackish than deathish :P
