  • i think its the restored version- just re-released- nicholson bought the rights to the movie by in the day and held out all these years so some versions circulating were not the full version- or what perhaps antonioni had intended release.

  • yes he does- i cant remember but i think he grabs some papers- and there a note on the wall from her noyfriend handwritten saying something like- see you later

  • no there is bo chick there- i added her too- to a still i took from the movie- call it collage

  • I don't understand this. What point are you trying to make? Why have you used The Passenger?

I don't even recognise this scene.

I recognise the room, its where Locke's wife watches the TV interview discussing his death. I know you've super-imposed onto the TV but when I saw the film there wasn't a woman lying on the couch off to the right.

    Please explain.

    Confused

  • dont be confused its madness

  • the passenger is one of the great cinema events. this is rubbish. did you learn the british acent from dick van dyke

  • yeah i did learn it from mr van dyke- howd you guess

  • good lip-synching. don't listen to the nay-sayers, EVERYTHING having to do with the passenger is cool.

  • Fair enough.

I know there's a longer version of the film than the one I have because Locke apparently enters his house in London at one point. In the copy I have, Locke goes up the steps to the front door and then walks away.

He never enters the house. This shows I don't have the full version.

I remember Locke's wife watching the TV interview but I don't recall any scene in the film where a woman is lying on a couch in that room.

Is this from the uncut version?
