Brazilian guitarist and composer Heitor Villa Lobos composed this
prelude inspired by brazilian folk music and classical european music.
Villa Lobos will be remembered as one of the most important Latino American composer.
This prelude, Prelude no. 3, is in my opinion the most special prelude of VL's 5
preludes. I really hope you enjoy this piece as much as I do. Have a nice week!
PS: Don't forget to give this video a thumbs up :)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
Heitor Villa-Lobos (March 5, 1887 -- November 17, 1959) was a Brazilian composer,
described as "the single most significant creative figure in 20th-century Brazilian
art music". Villa-Lobos has become the best-known and most significant Latin American
composer to date. He wrote numerous orchestral, chamber, instrumental and vocal works.
His 12 Studies and 5 Preludes for the classical guitar are among the finest for the
instrument and are regarded as standard repetoir for guitarists. His music was influenced
by both Brazilian folk music and by stylistic elements from the European classical tradition,
as exemplified by his Bachianas Brasileiras ("Brazilian Bach-pieces").

0:04* instead C at the second string, you have to give B :) just wanted to help, great work! :)

You sound great! May I make a suggestion? At :42 on the video, play the A on the first string and re-fnger the chord (DBb E A) on the first 4 strings. much easier. You'll make it sing better. Keep up the great playing!

Are you playing in a standing position? It looks strange for some reason...
But very nicely played! Well done.

@xupacabra I'll second that, the Marcelo Kayath preludes are the best I've heard.

Great !!! But can improve. The best interpreter of Villa Lobos is one Brazilian musician, Marcelo Kayath (dont play more) listen...

Very good; you've gotten much better. Nice work on tone and much cleaner. You don't make many squeaks but it is possible to play without squeaks. Keep it up.
