if you know how to play guitar like the chords is it exactly the same as playing a guitalele i know you tune it differently but that's not big deal because i have a tuner it's just i dont want to learn whole new chords so are they the same?

Cony, I think its to feel the beginning of phrases. I've often heard the 1st violinist of a string quartet lead a section with a gesture & a "sniff" like a woodwind or brass player would do.
