@TheJennetteFan Thanks for the tip but since I saw this video (which I had completely forgotten about after all this time) I picked up a used JBC AD-2950 station for a good price. It too has a very nice handpiece and the tips are even easier to change.

@treborrrrr there are some staions out there weller wd1002T wd1M wd2000 wd2m JBC stations i got a weller wd1002T and i recomend it to everyone

Now if the price could be as small as that beautiful handpiece I would be a very happy hobbyist :) Alas I'm stuck with a cheapo no-name station.
