I also find it insulting as I was playing with the LA music club (the opening act) which is a club for musicians with ages ranging from 8-21 and think it's quite hard to say that about young kids, I was 14 at the time of this gig for example! Is that not just destroying ur own work, because if they all give up on music you would very quickly be out of a job! That is my case rested!

Not sure you have a case there my friend. Many of the top gigs in the london west end ..for a random example ...The Troubadour cafe bar... all artists perform for no fee, waiting for that lucky night when a booking agent is watching. And the standard is much higher. Glad you enjoyed the show...my kids loved the day!

Everybody who performed in this show was doing it free, for charity. Everybody I know who was in the crowd was having a great time. Maybe if ur looking for top talent u should go to a gig where u don't get in for free!
