  • You're entirely welcome.

  • Thanks for posting. Like you, I've had the chance to watch this series with my dad, my sons, and my grandson. Real family values which are still important today.

  • I know i'm a little late on seeing this show originally, considering I'm only 17, but my Dad and i watch the reruns together, he used to watch the show when it first came out.

  • @bsdoerner2 I'm glad you're enjoying the series with your Dad. You can see from the comments here and on similar websites that many families have enjoyed The Rifleman for decades. You're not "a little late." The essential elements of these stories remain valid even after fifty years. Thanks for commenting.

  • This brings me to tears I lost him 38 years ago but we used to watch the rifleman together and my Dad was my hero and will always be. Thank you for this video!

  • You are more than welcome. Your feelings - and the experience of having watched the series originally with your own Dad - seem to be shared by so many of us.

  • These comments have helped me view my Dad differently. Even when I married in '72 and expressed a desire for my husband to be more affectionate to me, he said he provides for me. It was the mentality that all that could be done was done for loved ones if provision for daily living. I know that when Dad lived thru the Depression, that sometimes couldn't be provided. Thanks again.
