Final Fantasy VII - Till I Collapse {Happy Belated Bday JwalkZer0}

Background Info

Like I said in the beginning of the vid, this is just a "Filler AMV". Its a term I created and use to describe vids I wasn't planning on creating but came up unexpectedly and needed to be created in a short amount of time (for example, finding out that a friend's bday is close) or side projects where I really don't go all out.

So it's been at least 3 weeks since I beat Final Fantasy 13 and I got to say even though it was weak on the storyline and comes in about "average" (not striking me as impressive but not disappointing either), it did get me interested in FF again which obviously is a good thing. It's been a really long time since i've edited with FF but I thought it was time to go back to basics since the first amvs I ever made were FF vids. Plus I was finally able to get Advent Children Complete without the use of torrents so I wanted to check out the quality. Unfortunately, it was in Japanese dub and had English Subtitles so I had to get rid of the subtitles and find the English audio and try to piece them together in perfect sync lols

Anyway, I'm killing two birds with one stone with this vid. It's not only a bday dedication vid to JwalkZer0 (who even though, I just sent a friend request to a few weeks ago, has been a long time inspiration of mine when it comes to rap AMVs) and since he's a pretty big RPG gamer and his favorite FF character is Cloud, this one goes out to him. This is also an audition vid for Mzilla's "Dope Boyz Alliance " group who is also another heavy hitter when it comes to rap AMVs.

MY THOUGHTS ON THE VID:
=========================

1) I was checking the other FF vids with this song and even though they were good, the lyrics were the main reason that were holding those vids back. So what I did was find an instrumental version of the song and cut the ending hook/chorus from the original version and combine the two and add my own little twist to the song (the additional beat drops at 1:08 - 1:10 and repeating the chorus at 1:45.)

2) I wanted to add a little bit more dramatic and epic feel to the vid by adding and editing the conversation that took place in Advent Children. So I added/edited the audio at 0:50 from FF Dissidia to Advent Children clips, changed Kadaj and Cloud's conversation before they fought, and had to shorten the dialogue between Cloud and Zack in both the beginning and ending of the vid.

3) At first I wanted to make this vid be all about masking and effects as you can see from the beginning of the vid to 0:48 but I changed my mind and switched it up to beat sync which seems to be a good choice.

4) I tried beat syncing as best as possible when it came to explosions in the vid and the swords hitting each other at the same time but I started to slip at the end after Zack talks to Cloud.
