  • Beautiful song! Thank you John Sheehan and Eammon Campbell! :-)

    Thank you Dubliners! :-)

Thank you "witteroos" for posting this song. :-)

  • @BoudiccaBlanc You're very welcome... I still love the tune as well, it's just beautiful

  • Oh my goodness - never have I heard such a beautiful song!! I thought I had heard all of the Dubliners songs - but this one just takes my breath away! I'm just in awe of this man's talent! And what a way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day on Tuesday!! Thank you for posting all the wonderful music from the Dubliners. I just can't get enough!

  • Two years ago, when I made this video, was the first time I heard this song. I went twice when they were in Holland that year, the second time John invited me and dedicated this song to me and another woman, I felt soooo honored!

  • This guy is seriously underrated. It pisses me off that this guy (and the rest of the Dubliners, of course) gets little recognition while all kinds of utterly unimpressive singers (naming no names) get massive amounts of public adulation, money and airtime.

  • love this song from my favored dub. God bless good old John Sheahan and the dubliners

  • hands down my favourite composition of music ever, the whistle segment moves me every time, and compelled me to begin playing.

  • Mr. Sheahan, Mr. Campbell, your music brings light to my heart in the midst of my depression. I hope somehow you can know how much peace you have given me today.

  • This is an incredible musician, completely unappreciated, IMHO, and deserving of much more credit than he gets. His violin and pennywhistle are beyond amazing!

  • @mambtwae You are absolutely correct! I don't understand why in the world the Dubliners aren't more widely known than they are! Probably because they are such gentlemen!

  • @mambtwae oh too true. as john told me " never put people on a pedistal" but my god thease men are gods walking with men. honest and skilled but never admit it. the real shame is they will only ever be truely loved when they pass, so to john, luke, ronnie, barney, ciearen, jim, sean. at then rest ,,slant`e

  • What a pity that the people did not get quiet to listen to this almost hyme like tune.

  • @TheAngelofNight Ah, all right :]

  • @stefdirekte I think it is in G (:
