$5000 is not much for a great guitar. Paying $35000 is not even uncommon! Why should guitars cost less than for example violins and cellos which can sell for hundreds of thousands or even millions?

$5000 is considered totally reasonable for a luthier built guitar in the classical world. These things take close to 200 hours to build by hand.
