This is the ancient city of Teotihuacan in Mexico. The pyramid of the Sun and the pyramid of the Moon were built between 1-250 A.D. Filmed on a trip to Mexico City in 1996.

I was there and climbed the pyramid of the Moon..it has a very different feeling being there..and the layout is gynormas!!

There are many things you can see there...but what you will see is something that is very strange...it is the IDEA of the place!

Id rather visit this place than the Egyptian pyramids..its so mind boggling amazing to realzied these people use banana leaves to wipe their ass can build something like these..great respects to the natives, but the ancient people sure know something we dont even want to attempt to comprehend

Imagine, 20.000 people where once sacrifieced there.

In one day.

It might have been an incrediable scene: rivers of blood, piles of corpses, scent of the dying flesh, a hum of the audience, the screams of the victims, a tremble of the air infested with bloodlust and fear that is almost tangible, a huge pit of heads and thousands of eyes staring blankly in the sky. The same sky we see today. Isn't that nice? IIt's romantic and terrible at the same time.

Teotihuacan was the first Mega City and Superpower of the Americas its  influence reachesd from Arizona till Honduras.

When the Aztecs found the City itas was alredy abandond for over 800 years.

Till the first scyscrapers where constructed in the USA, the Buildings of Teotihuacan were the larges of the Americas.

I was there in '94. If you climb it, watch out cause you could take the tumble of a lifetime and not stop falling until you get to the bottom in a bloody heap.
