Well to be fair this did kind of play with the super robot concept a bit like showing what would happen if you put a super robot in a real robot world. You cant realy say the creators of the origional Dancouga should be offended by this since most of the team that worked on that worked on Nova.

But to be honest everyone is sick of super robot deconstruction's. Theres a reason everyone loves Gaogaigar so much because it reconstructs the super robot genre.
