I drive a 306 dturbo

I, rather irresposibly took it to my favourite B road for a blast and lost it on a complex corner when I was overconfident.

Back end stepped out way too far and no amount of coutersteer and extra throttle would rein it in.

That moment of boyish cockyness cost me the bill for a new rear axel.....

you did it right, you accelerated when the back was sliding too much and you recovered adherence, perfectly :)
