If u know ur roots u would know that before Europeans invaded DR it was one nation with different tribes. Africans had been migrating to DR way before Columbus and before it was even called DR. So the African Culture and the Native Culture had been mixing. Then the Spaniards invaded and took over the East side, the French took over the West Side and they divided the people and the island. Matter of fact, the term "Dominican" comes from the French. That's what I'm talking about. Peace!!!

We don't even gotta go that far, we killing each other right in Dyckman! Yeah we had wars with Haitians but that don't mean we ain't brothers. It's one island not two.
