How to determine your Xbox 360 Drive brand

If your not sure you can look on the disc drive its self...top left corner, and on the bottom left corner. Also If you don't have the Fancy doo-dads torqx screws drivers. You can improvise like i did. To open the xbox case I used something sharp..like a pointed knife or something to pop the hinges open...then for the torq screws I used a fairly pointed philllips...a little pressure downward with a twist and i managed to get them off. good luck on your repair.

The slim is no different from any other xbox except smaller.

@haloking3000 you're going to have to open the case, and check from the inside, i was luck enough to put a small torx driver in there, and move around till i seen i have yellow wires
