Worlds Literary Festival invites international writers to Norwich to engage in the weeks events and public readings. Alongside the public programme of work, the festival also offers a daily round-table discussion session, at which writers from across the world can share thoughts and ideas. This unique Salon explores a different topic each year, and this year writers and guests were asked to think about The Creative Writer; the education of writers, issues of the market place and of translation.

  • poetry is better self taught because the people teaching it are way not up to it. in fact the universities teach how to write and like bad poetry

charles bukowski's "so you want to be a writer" is real !
