are you supposed to feel a massive pain on your neck when you load the weight on your back. i tried moving it lower down my back but it still hurts like a bitch. its not that im being a wimp because i push myself till my muscles are on fire but this pain is not right it feels like theres a knife in it

@Hadselll No idea. High-rep is completely different than 1RM. They're different training qualities. And I don't like percentage-based training, anyhow. :)

Should you be holding your breath so long? Does it help you keep your muscles tight? Or are you allowed to breath in and out during reps.

@openaccessuser Holding the breath is necessary for core stability during heavy lifting. It's called the Valsalva maneuver. I breathe in between reps.
