I seem to recall something about hypnotism relieving pain. I could be wrong, but the argument was thaat it didn't really REMOVE pain, it just took away the stigma of it... By relaxing, the pain became manageable...

what the fuck??? this has nothing to do with hypnosis. How can your mind affect how your body grow????? Hypnosis are more ore less beliving something so bad that you feel it, but it dosent make it real. People who see god in the sky for instance are in a kind of a self hypnosis

I generally like this series, but they have failed to mention that there are certain evidence-based uses of hypnosis which have been accepted in conventional medicine. There will always be people who claim to be able to cure everything...
