nice example man. i really miss my 65. rusted beyond my skill and pockets. scrapped it back in 88 or 89. now with c-list and ebay i would have at least managed to save parts to help another merc owner. thanks for the trip

@ezernut9mm THANKS most of them rusted bad in the lower rear quarters even mine had some rust but had them redone years ago and some were even had frame issues where the rear frame broke form severe rust especially in eastern Canada and USA where a lot of salt was used on the roads.

A 352? Something is wrong. thats got to be a real piss-ball on the freeway. The plug ugly rear roofline doesnt help. My uncle had a 66 with a 410. One sunday my cousins came upon a family on the freeway. As they passed one of them produced a cat. He held the car out of the open rear window for the girls in the car to see. The cat died as my cousin raised the window. The dead cat shot off the decklid as we flew by. the old man in the car nearly had a stroke.

@dicarlo57 All the Canadian Mercs Fords and Meteors came with a 352 as standard some ordered the optinal 390's. That's funny about the cat.
