  • Nice video but about the quote in your description "when africans were being sold in the north part of ethiopia"...what are you talking about??? Ethiopians were never being sold ESPECIALLY in the north and if I'm not mistaken is Gondar not in northern Ethiopia?

WAY BEFORE AFRICANS BECAME SLAVES, the Romans enslaved Europe & the Arabs, the Ottaman Turks enslaved the Arabs, Armen, Kurds & Persians, the English enslaved Irish, Scots & wales,,, etc.

Therefore, instead of lecturing & preaching SLAVERY TO AFRICANS, why NOT try to find out, "WHO WAS ENSLAVING YOUR ANCESTORS"?

    Thank you.

  • @ethi0nz a majority of the slave trade came from West Africa. But some east africans/ ethiopians were sold during the slave trade, especially by arabs. There's a tribal people in Ethiopia, it might be the Omo tribe (I'm not sure if it's that tribe specifically) but there's a tribe in ethiopia that during the time of slavery they would slice their bottom lip almost completely off to look undesirable to the slave trader, and some of the women of that tribe still continue that practice today.

  • When is this thing comming up? If some one can post it or direct me that'd be great.

  • At market there was a box of free things. Being book-less, i swept the blue tome into my bag and hurried to catch-up with my friends. i read the last page of a book called Gondar yesterday. How on earth did i arrive into my 50's without learning of Gondar and it's central role in humanity's maturation?
