@KiKfilms Not necessarily. The SNES can do more colors and hardware translucency. That's about where it's graphical superiority ends. The Genesis has a more powerful processor allowing it to do a lot of effects through software resulting in some rather spectacular looking games. Treasure's games are some good examples of that.

@LuwiigiMaster It doesn't quite work that way. There's still bottlenecks and the SNES CPU still has to control everything. The SA-1 and other chips just assist with certain graphical effects. And again it still doesn't bring it to the level of Genesis performance, you still have slow bus speeds, you still can't DMA straight from ROM like you can on the Genesis, and a few other things.

I think that obviously the genesis wins, better ports, great gameplay and graphics, fantastic arcade sticks and 6 button controllers, and many more top notch games

nintendo had in many cases more rosen consored slooow kiddy games,but the sega genesis had more speed,more and nice not concered action games and an really cool design.

today it,s all about an cool design and speed no one talks to having good graphics & sound annymore like backthem cuzz today they all perfect.

if i want an iphone 4 s i don,t need to wurry about the graphics & sound,all i aspect is an cool design and more speed,that,s what we want tofay more speed!!!
